Daily Prompt: Frail

They said she was easily broken, frail and delicate, a woman of meagre means.  Hidden below the surface was a contradiction that only he had seen. Her world was intoxicating and her perception rare. She could turn the dark into a perfect midnight while turning the head of anyone there. He would do anything to beat her heart. They, who didn’t matter, didn’t understand why. This was his life, his time, he screamed. It was under her bright blue canopy, her carnival coloured sky that he wanted to live. He did. Until one day, one average, everyday day – she was gone.
