Value

Daily Prompt: Value

Value: the importance, worth or usefulness of something.

What an intriguing topic!

What’s your value? Or a more interesting question to ask yourself might be: how do you measure your value? Do you place more importance on what you do – or who you are? There is a huge difference between the two.

Are you more driven by your monetary worth and collection of things or maybe it’s more about the person you are and the love that surrounds you? It could be both, for many of us it is, and that’s ok too as there are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions asked here.

Yet, deep down one will most likely hold a greater value to you than the other – telling you who you think you are at heart. Your measure of value is unique to you. Embrace it, or if on closer inspection you don’t like what you see – change it! You have the power to be exactly who you want to be,  understanding and thinking about the value you place on who you are and what you do will help you to be the very best version of you.

I find writing, playing with fiction especially, to be a great escape from the busyness of life, which is why I enjoy participating in Daily Prompts when I have the time.
