Tiny

Daily Prompt: Tiny

With strength that defied size, he took the weight of their circumstance squarely on his tiny shoulders and carried it. For too long the responsibilities of life, responsibilities that would floor a person twice his age, were his and continued to grow. Still he walked, edging forward, one day at a time. He would not let them down, the family he loved.

He would bear the strain, suffer the pain and continue to move forward. Where others fell away, the enormity of the situation too much, he continued to carry the weight upon his shoulders without complaint. He did not falter. He was brave. More warrior than little boy, it was easy to see he was the son of a great man.
